Lag B’Omer 2020 In Meron: Who Will Be There?


There will be three bonfires allowed at Meron on Lag B’Omer, with 50 participants allowed at each one, a far cry from the usual half a million visitors to the kever of Rav Shimon Bar Yochai at Meron every year.

Harav Yitzchak Dovid Grossman, the Rav of Migdal Ha’emek will speak on Monday night at 8 p.m., followed by the recital of Tehillim led by the Kosel Rav, Rav Shmuel Rabinowitz, which will be followed by the recital of selichos for the end of the pandemic, led by mekubal Rav Avish Tzeinwort.

Kabbalas Ol Malchus Shamayim will then be led by the Rachmastrivka Rebbe. The Boyaner choir will then sing until the hadlaka of the medura by the Boyaner Rebbe at 9:10 p.m.

The second hadlaka will take place at 10 p.m. by the Rishon L’Tzion, Hagaon Rav Shomo Amar, the Rav of Yerushalayim.

At 11 p.m. the third hadlaka will take place by Hagaon Rav Shmuel Eliyahu, the Rav of Tzfat and Hagaon Rav Chaim Druckman.
