Flatbush Rabbonim to Community: Vote this Tuesday for Chaim Deutsch for City Council


cIn an unprecedented move, Rabbi Yisroel Reisman, Rosh Yeshiva, Yeshiva Torah Vodaas, as well as many other prominent Rabbonim of major Flatbush shuls, strongly endorsed Chaim Deutsch for the City Council in next Tuesday’s, November 5th election.

“Chaim is a proven advocate for our community” stated the Rabbonim, and “he has dedicated his life to making Flatbush safer and better for all of us.” “We strongly recommend you vote for him”

Rabbi Reisman was joined by prominent and respected Rabbonim, from all across the Flatbush community, including Rabbi Yaakov Ben-Haim of Congregation Sharei Zion, Harav Osher Kalmanowitz, Rosh HaYeshiva, Mirrer Yeshiva, Rabbi Moshe Tuvia Leiff of Agudah of Ave. L, Rabbi Meir Platnik of Keser Yisroel Mordechai, Rabbi Ayeh Ralbag of the Young Israel of Ave. K, Rabbi Dov Oshry of Khal Bais Avrohom, and many others.

For over 20 years, Chaim Deutsch, founder of Flatbush Shomrim Safety patrol, has been a tireless fighter for our community and has been working with the communities’ rabbonim and askonim on many communal issues that effect and benefit the klal. His experience and leadership makes him the right person to represent our community in city government. Chaim is running on the Democratic line, and if he wins he will be able to sponsor legislation and get much needed assistance for our community organizations since the Democrats control the City Council. The Rabbonim strongly encourage every registered voter to make sure to vote this Tuesday, November 5th. Polls are open from 6AM until 9 PM.

Chaim Deutsch is a proud father and grandfather and well known community activist. He is running for the 48th District City Council seat, which includes Brighton Beach, Manhattan Beach, Sheepshead Bay, Homecrest and Midwood.

  1. Chaim is deserving of everyones support and vote this Tuesday. If you live in the 48th district not neglect this important election and bring a neighbor or 2 to the polls with you. Our community needs and deserves Chaim.
