OLD HORSE, NO NEW TRICKS: Trump Attacks REPUBLICANS Ahead of First 2024 Rally

For those thinking Donald Trump’s renewed bid for the White House would bring a softer, more stable genius, his immediate attacks on fellow prospective 2024 candidates should put those ideas to rest.

Speaking to reporters ahead of his first 2024 rally, Trump ripped into Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley – both of whom are seriously considering diving into the presidential campaign themselves.

“Ron would have not been governor if it wasn’t for me,” Trump said of DeSantis. “When I hear that he might run, I consider that very disloyal. But it’s not about loyalty. But to me it is, it’s always about loyalty.”

Yes, we know. Loyalty that goes only in one direction.

He also claimed that DeSantis is seeking to rewrite his record on Covid-19. For the record, DeSantis reopened Florida well ahead of Trump’s own call to reopen the country, prompting criticism from Trump.

As far as Haley is concerned, Trump said that he “talked to her for a little while. But I said ‘Look, go by your heart, if you wanna run.’ She’s publicly said, ‘I would never run against my president. He was a great president.”

  1. Even most Republicans are tired of this Old Horse’s XXX. Same old rants, same old Gevalts, same old lies. He really doesn’t seem energized and is going through the motions.

  2. Doesn’t the ole geezer know when it’s time to move on?
He is getting stupider by the minute.
Chazal understood this when they said “Hakinah hataavah vehakovod moitzien es ho’odom min haoilam”

  3. Avraham, a president is not a king. He is a public servant, no more, and he is not entitled to more respect than the janitor at a government office. In other words a lot less respect than the janitor at a beis medrash, who enables Tefillah and Talmud Torah.
