VIDEO: Man Steals Cell Phones And ‘Religious Articles’ From ‘Landaus [Veretzky] Shul’ On Ave L In Flatbush

The NYPD is looking for a man who walked into a popular Flatbush Shul last week and started stealing valuables from people’s coats hanging on a rack.

Police tell YWN that on Friday, March 3, 2017 between 11:15AM and 12:30PM, the individual arrived on a men’s mountain bike and entered “Congregation Verezky Synagogue (Landaus Shul), located at 814 Avenue L”, and began removing property from inside coats that were hanging on racks.

The individual removed three cell phones, an iPod, and five religious articles. Police did not specify what types of religious articles were stolen.

The individual then fled the location on the mountain bike.

Police believe he is between 5 feet 6 inches tall and 5 feet 8 inches tall.
