  1. The interview gave a good overview of what to expect to come in the Middle East.
Mr. Hoenlein is mistaken in regards to Rand Paul. Mr. Paul did NOT single out Israel for cuts. His position is that ALL foreign aid should be cut while we here, in the US have a financial crises. Paul’s not singling Israel out here; it’s CNN’s Wolf Blitzer who brings up Israel, and Paul’s making his case that we simply can’t afford it anymore.
Paul also points put that the US gives roughly the same amount of aid to Israel as she does to Israel’s enemies, simply creating an arms race.

  2. Honelein is one of the only real joyrnalists I bother listening to. He always breaks stories way before the media, and is very bright and clear thinker. He is on the John bachelor how every Thursday night and he is on j am in the am I think at 745am on fridays. It is reprinted in he yates every week.

  3. Poor Malcolm Hoenlein. I really feel sorry for him. Hundreds of thousands of Egyptians must be sitting by their computers hanging on every word Malcolm says. Sure, Malcolm’s gonna show ’em. He’s going to tell them who to pick and who not to. Why are these spokesmen for the State of Israel so delusional? Malcolm, you have to settle down. Egypt will be followed by Yemen and Algeria, and then Morocco and Jordan, and thereafter Saudi Arabia.
What is your beloved Zionist State going to do then? Nebuch…….A nebichel……….

  4. YitzchokM, it’s not as fun reminding people of the truth that the US is broke and that ALL countries who get foreign aid must end their dependence. But of course the State of Israel is kodesh kodeshim, and the entire US treasury is the pushke for the State of Israel. How selfish and narcissistic

  5. Most US foreign aid is just well-disguised corporate welfare, mostly for defense contractors. Mr. Paul may be able to resist the lobbyists but I am sure the rest of the Republicans will fall in line as they always do.

I’m not sure what your rant is all about.
I know you don’t like the State of Israel. I got that. I’m just not sure what the point of your response is.

What’s wrong with “corporate welfare”? Why should the “great society” be limited to the so called poor?!?
