Har HaBayis Heritage Foundation Blames Police for Provocation

Whoever stands behind the recent announcement that Moshe Feiglin and his supporters’ planned a coup on Har HaBayis succeeded in achieving their goal, besmirching Feiglin’s name and closing down Har HaBayis to him and his group. The media on Sunday morning reported on the threat against the Temple Mount, and the association between that threat and Feiglin are not working in Feiglin’s favor as he continues efforts to earn a slot on the Likud party lineup.

Yehuda Glick, of the Har HaBayit Heritage Foundation points the finger of blame at Israel Police, explaining “over recent years” police have been increasingly opposed to Jews visiting the Mount, and he feels police behind the unfounded publication that Feiglin, who visits Har HaBayis on the 19th of every Jewish month, was planning to take over the holy site, prompting police to close the area to non Islamic visitors.
