PHOTOS: 50 Arrests As Police Round Up Persons Involved In Har Habayis Protests In Yerushalayim

Regarding the large-scale regional arrest operation, police report to date about 50 law-breakers who have taken an active part in the violent and severe disturbances in eastern Jerusalem over the past two weeks have been arrested.

An additional arrest operation took place Wednesday night, during which dozens of border police and police raided the homes of suspects in Wadi Joz, Ras al-Amud, Beit Haninah and A-Tur and arrested 15 suspects.

They were brought for interrogation and interrogated for endangering human life and participating in disturbances. At its conclusion, they will be brought before the court to extend their remand.

These arrests are added to the detention of 33 people who were arrested at the beginning of the week. Of the large-scale regional arrest operation, and to date about 50 violators of an order who have taken an active part in the violent and severe disturbances in eastern Jerusalem over the past two weeks have been arrested.

An additional arrest operation took place this night, during which dozens of Border Police officers and Border Police raided the homes of suspects in Wadi Joz, Ras al-Amud, Beit Haninah and A-Tur and arrested 15 suspects.

The detention of 31 of them was extended by the court, and 19 of them have already filed prosecutor’s statements and 9 indictments have been filed.
