Eida Chareidis Calls To Begin Davening For Rain

Due to yet another winter without significant rainfall, the Badatz Eida Chareidis on Rosh Chodesh Teves instructs Jews in Eretz Yisroel to begin reciting ‘Va’aneinu’ in Shmona Esrei.

The badatz’s call come about 10 days after Chief Rabbi of Israel Dovid Lau Shlita issued a call to the tzibur to begin reciting the tefilla.
