Three Injured In Violent Stabbing in Be’er Sheva


Three people were lightly injured on Wednesday after violence broke out near the Central Bus Station in Be’er Sheva. The individuals sustained stabbing injuries in what police suspected may have been a terror attack, but what turned out to be a case of violence that got out of control.

A Police spokesperson said: The stabbing incident in Be’er Sheva today was called in to the police via our hotline of 100 and police officers were immediately dispatched to the scene. The officers arrested the man suspected of stabbing the three other individuals. The suspect is a resident of Be’er Sheva and has been taken into police custody for questioning.

Magen David Adom’s spokesperson’s department said: “MDA EMTs and paramedics treated three individuals for light injuries and transported them to Soroka hospital for treatment.”
