VIDEO: State Prosecutor Will Now Review Israel Police’s Case Against Netanyahu & Mozes

(VIDEO IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)

PM Netanyahu stands accused of accepting cigarettes, cigars, and champagne in the form of bribes in the case called “1000”. Some members of the State Prosecutor’s Office in Tel Aviv pointed out that charges were filed against former PM Ehud Olmert with less proof than police gathered in this case against PM Netanyahu. These attorneys, Liat Ben-Ari and Yonatan Tadmor, will be in charge of reviewing the case presented to the prosecution by police. They will be joined by three others and the team of five will have to determine PM Netanyahu’s future.

There is also the second case, called “2000”, which deals with alleged deal-making between PM Netanyahu and Yediot Achronot owner/publisher Arnon Mozes, in which they allegedly cooperated to advance their common interests at the expense of the owner of the Yisrael Hayom newspaper, Sheldon Adelson.

The final determination will be made by State Attorney General Dr. Avichai Mandelblit. This stage, the review of the file and making recommendations to Mandelblit, is expected to take several months at least. If charges are filed, they are likely to include accepting bribes, making bribes, breach of trust, and fraud.

I did a search and found several pictures all dated Tokyo 1997 (probably all the same cigar). One picture apparently at home lighting a cigar. Another picture in a blog (which could be fake for all I know). That is all I could find.
