Shaked To PM Netanyahu: Permitting A Right-Wing Government To Fall Would Be A Historical Error

Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked targeted Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday morning, accusing him of trying to bring an end to the coalition, stating he is returning to mistakes of the past.

“It’s a fictitious crisis,” she said in her Twitter account on the background of reports that if Yisrael Beitenu voted against the draft bill, the prime minister would fire Minister Sofa Landver.

Shaked continued to chant at Netanyahu and said, “The prime minister, to topple a right-wing government over nothing, and this would be a historic mistake similar in size to the fall of Shamir’s government in 1992.”

Earlier, she told Radio Kol Berama that “dismantling the government is a mistake that later everyone will regret, I hope that the prime minister or the defense minister will come to their senses.”

“There are two options; either the defense minister will tell Sofa Landver to abstain from voting on the draft law, or the prime minister will decide not to fire Sofa Landver, even though she voted against it, “she said.
