Jerusalem Light Rail – Curtailed Service Thursday Night


Jerusalem light rail officials on Thursday morning 6 Nissan reported there will be curtailed service on Thursday evening to erev Shabbos afternoon. Officials will be changing an electric pole that was damaged by the accident of a private vehicle that collided with a light rail.

The notice refers to the accident that occurred earlier in the week in Pisgat Ze’ev.

Work will get underway on Thursday at 7:00PM, and continue until some time after noon on Friday. The train was derailed as a result of the accident.

During the repair work, service will be discontinued from Givat HaMivtar to the Cheil Avir stop in Pisgat Ze’ev. Buses will run on a regular schedule.
