US President Donald Trump was contemplating traveling to Israel for the official dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new US Embassy in Jerusalem, but it now appears he will deliver a video message, a senior administration official told members of the media on Friday.

US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman will be present along with the following administration officials. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, US Special Envoy Jason Greenblatt, Trump’s senior adviser Jared Kushner and his wife Ivanka Trump.
