Renovations In Tzefas Cemetery Lead To Protests

Renovations taking place in the Tzefas cemetery have led to a group of chareidim to arrive on Tuesday morning, 13 Tammuz, with the intentions of disrupting the ongoing work by interfering with construction equipment.

The renovations are being carried out by the Tzefas Religious Council, which were implemented to improve water drainage from the cemetery.

The small number of chareidim interfered with work and police had to be summoned. Police tried to persuade them to leave the area a number of times, after which arrests were made.
