While McDonalds Boycotts Yehuda & Shomron, Minister Bennet Enjoys A Burger In Ariel

It is known that the owner of the McDonald’s franchise in Israel is affiliated with the left-wing, and as such, it boycotts Yehuda and Shomron. Its main competitor in Israel on the other hand, Burger Ranch, does not share the same political sentiment and it has opened a mehadrin kosher branch in the Shomron city of Ariel.

Bayit Yehudi party chairman, Minister Naftali Bennet was among the first customers on Sunday, 8 Elul, and by doing so, he kept a promise made a number of years ago, that if the branch opened, he would be among the first customers.

Adopting an approach that is supportive of Yehuda and Shomron, CEO Eli Orgad told Maariv that he sees no reason not to open a branch in Ariel as he feels the company will operate in any area that the State of Israel has citizens living. Orgad added that the beautiful branch that opened in Ariel is the company’s response to McDonalds and its boycott of the area.
