Talmidim in Ponevezh were somewhat surprised to see MK (Likud) Yehuda Glick seated in the beis medrash as the day’s first seder began on Tzom Gedalyah.
Glick spent about three hours learning with his Chavrusa, one of the Yeshiva talmidim.
When asked about the event, Glick told Kikar Shabbos News, “I have a memorial service for my late father-in-law z”l in the afternoon. I decided to head to the yeshiva on the occasion of the Aseres Yimei Teshuva and to learn Gemara for a bit.”
Glick is an American-born Israeli politician who campaigns for expanding Jewish access to Har Habayis.
On October 29, 2014 Glick gave a speech at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem. According to eye-witness Shay Malka, a man on a motorcycle who spoke with a “thick Arab accent” approached Glick as he loaded equipment into the back of his car after speaking at a conference, and asked if he was Yehuda Glick, before shooting him in the chest 4 times and speeding off.
Glick survived the assassination attempt, and was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center for treatment. Glick later said that the gunman had apologized before firing at him, saying: “I’m very sorry, but you’re an enemy of Al-Aqsa, I have to.”

He has zechusim- he raised orphans in his home as his own children, maybe that’s why he survived miraculously. However he is a very confused individual, he blatantly goes against the gedolim of the Torah he studies, who forbid ascending Har HaBayis in the strongest terms. Hashem Yerachem!
Whats worse , buchurim from ponoviz harming each othet by throwing chairs and shtenders at each other, in the bais medrash in front of the “gedolim of the torah” and n front of the aron hakodesh ? or someone who has who to rely on , to go in certain areas of the har habayis?
