DOUBLE HOMICIDE IN JERUSALEM: Elderly Couple Found Murdered in Armon Hanatziv Neighborhood

An elderly man and a woman were found murdered in their apartment on Sunday evening. The victims, both in their 70’s, were a couple who resided in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of Yerushalayim.

The victims were found with multiple stab wounds and signs of violence on their persons. Emergency medical personnel who responded to the emergency call and arrived at the apartment were forced to pronounce their deaths at the scene.

They have been identified as Yehuda and Tamar Kaduri.

Israeli police have confirmed that this was an incident of murder. A police spokesperson said that a full investigation is underway and all avenues are being explored. This is after a young girl was stabbed outside her own home in the same neighborhood just four days ago.

A spokesperson for the Fire Department described the scene for reporters: “About an hour ago, firefighters were dispatched from the southern precinct of the city to an apartment on Elkachi Street in Armon Hanatziv after a suspicion had been claimed regarding the lives of the couple who had not contacted their loved ones for a number of days. Firefighters gained entrance into the apartment from the balcony, and once inside the apartment they found the couple lifeless.”

Information on a suspect has not been released.
