PHOTOS: Beit Shemesh Mayor Bloch Working To Put The City On The Tourism Map

Beit Shemesh Mayor Aliza Bloch met with Tourism Minister Yariv Levin, who traveled to Beit Shemesh, as the mayor has plans of turning areas of the city into official tourist venue as well as hosting sporting events.

According to Bloch, the city can serve as a center for tourism and sports, which can integrate together with nature and history, and she hopes the ministry will adopt a plan addressing tourism and hotels in the city as she feels this is now a possibility considering recent archaeological discoveries in the city.
