Jerusalem Police Arrest Suspected Firebombers


A Jerusalem police district spokesman reported the arrest of two residents of East Jerusalem suspected of taking part in firebomb attacks against police and security authorities operating in that area.

On January 10, 2019, firebombs were hurled at security forces operating on the Jerusalem border area, and B’chasdei Hashem, there were no injuries or damage reported. A probe into those attacks led to the arrests of two Arabs, one 17 and the other 20-years-old, both from the eastern capital. The detention of the older suspect was extended until January 16th and the second is scheduled for an arraignment hearing.
