Yair Sherki tweets a photo of Bayit Yehudi party leader Rabbi Rafi Peretz with HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita at a cornerstone laying ceremony in Yerushalayim on Thursday, June 13, 2019. He states that he does not remember such a close relationship between the head of the dati leumi party and chareidim.

Peretz has traveled to Bnei Brak in May to visit with Rav Kanievsky, as reported by YWN-Israel. He was warmly received.
