Israel’s Ministry of Health has issued a measles alert pertaining the Black Hebrews community located in Dimona, in southern Israel.

The ministry explains that this community refuses to be vaccinated against measles, and this may endanger and infect other populations.

The ministry wrote to the community leaders as well as sending message orally, warning the Dimona Municipality that it also tried putting pressure on the community of 2000 to get vaccinated, but to no avail.
