  1. Sheldon Adelson uses his money for the wrong things. I can think of things a lot more important than Birthright, which he never gave a cent to.

  2. Wow a yid goes on a expedition to look where to invest his (regardless if it’s I’ll gained) money and no one has something nice to say? Kol hakavod to the adelsons, May all their money be spent in such a holy way.

  3. These comments do not reflect a broad outlook. This man is a man. He’s not a walking wallet to be sapped dry and hung upside down until the change falls out of his pockets. Why shouldn’t he go to olam haba with a positive view of the yeshiva? He’s a man who has seen a lot. Now he sees this. All the fakery of tinsiltown, the best of what Western civilization has to offer has paraded itself in front of him. And here he is, as a mature man, opening his eyes like a youth to a pure and real approach to life. Why not look at it that way instead of a shake down? He’s a man. Don’t forget that!

  4. Yudaleph, that’s the difference between today generation and the prior, a lot of rebbehs and rosh yeshivas would never take money if it came from tainted money

  5. Don’t ask. Take the $ and run. The guy is dying unfortunately, and he’s trying to make good.
If he could contribute to building future generations of frum Jews, then that’s he’s Teshuva.
As far as I’am concerned everyone has a roll to play on this earth, he’s G-ds Shaliach.

Or we can talk about all the “frum” ganavim in this world. take your pick.
