A child was seriously injured Sunday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle on Rechov Harav Yisrael Abuchatzira in Bnei Brak.

The incident occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m., prompting a response from MDA, Hatzalah, and Ichud Hatzalah emergency personnel.

Paramedics provided lifesaving treatment at the scene before transporting the child by MDA intensive care ambulance to Rabin Medical Center’s Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah.

According to MDA, the child suffered severe multi-system injuries and is listed in serious but stable condition.

MDA EMT Yisrael Horowitz said, “When we arrived at the scene, we found the child conscious and suffering from severe multi-system injuries after being struck by a vehicle. We provided lifesaving medical treatment and evacuated him by intensive care ambulance to the hospital in serious but stable condition.”

The circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
