A Gerrer chassid from Ashdod was arrested and transferred to military prison (Prison 10) after being lied to by military authorities, sparking outrage and threats of a mass protest.
The avreich arrived at the Tel Hashomer enlistment office one week before his official enlistment date with detailed medical documents. He was told that he qualified for a medical exemption based on the medical information he provided.
However, after his enlistment date had passed, he received a phone call from the enlistment office informing him that he needed to return to submit additional medical documents.
The avreich expressed concern that appearing at the office after his enlistment date could result in his arrest, but they reassured him that he had nothing to fear and that he was only being asked to submit documents. Trusting those assurances, he returned to the office, where he was immediately arrested and subsequently sentenced to 20 days in prison.
Gerrer representatives have been working through the night in an effort to secure his release. If their efforts fail, they may hold another mass protest outside Prison 10.

Once again the IDF have proven to be one big LIERS! THEY DO THIS IN EVER RESPECT IN PARTICULAR REGARDING PROMISSING CHAREIDY-TRACK AND THEN FORCING THEM TO LISTEN TO FEMALE SINGERS ETC ETC.
All avreichim shod have phones that record telephone conversations. That would put a stop to the lying if people know they would be held accountable for what they said.
