An IDF soldier has been summoned for questioning after publishing a video criticizing Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth, commander of the IDF’s Central Command, over his use of administrative restriction orders against Jews in Judea and Samaria.
The soldier, Yehuda Tzabari, accused Bluth of focusing on Jews instead of Israel’s enemies. “With one hand, Avi Bluth sends me to war, and with the other he signs administrative orders against my friends,” Tzabari said. “Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth, I demand that you stop issuing administrative orders.”
The IDF said it “views the soldier’s statements with severity,” adding that the remarks “are unacceptable and do not align with IDF values or the standards expected of its soldiers.”
According to the IDF, Tzabari has been summoned for clarification by his commanders. The incident is under review, and command-level disciplinary measures will be considered once the inquiry is complete.
The military also said the movement restriction orders signed by Bluth are based on “clear and substantiated evidence” and are necessary to maintain security in the area.
