An atzeres hisorrerus will be held in Jerusalem on Tuesday evening amid the crisis in Klal Yisrael caused by the persecution of Bnei Torah and the wave of arrests of bochurim and avreichim for the “crime” of learning Torah.
The atzeres will be attended by Gedolim and Rabbanim representing all communities and eidos.
Signs have been hung with names of Gedolim who will be speaking, but sources tell YWN that some of them will not be attending, nor did they ever give permission to use their names.
A complete list will be updated when it is confirmed.
The atzeres is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ohalei Yosef and Grossberg Streets in the Bar Ilan area of Jerusalem.

as R Landau made clear, soldiers fight to protect Am Yisroel and, in some cases, for goals he finds objectionable. Could the atzeres offer a prayer for chayalim when they are engaged in battle protecting am yisroel?
