Israel’s Defense Ministry announced Thursday that another cargo ship carrying thousands of tons of military equipment and weaponry purchased in the United States has arrived in Israel and been unloaded at Haifa Port.

The shipment is part of an ongoing effort to bolster the IDF’s readiness for a range of potential scenarios and ensure the continued operational capabilities of Israel’s ground forces.

The cargo includes critical D9 bulldozers, Humvees, armored Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs), Oshkosh trucks and large quantities of additional military equipment.

The equipment was purchased by the Defense Ministry’s procurement mission in the United States. Bringing the vessel to Israel involved a joint operation between the procurement mission, the ministry’s international defense transportation unit and multiple IDF branches and logistical units.

“The IDF continues to act to ensure a continuous supply of vehicles, munitions and equipment to troops on the front lines,” the Defense Ministry said.

The ministry added that the shipments are part of its strategy to fully support the IDF’s short- and long-term operational needs.
