Israeli security forces arrested a 37-year-old Palestinian woman in Hebron overnight on suspicion of publishing social media content inciting violence, supporting terrorism and glorifying terrorists.

The arrest came as part of ongoing monitoring by Israeli security agencies of online activity promoting terrorism. After midnight, officers from the “Hetz Yehuda” operational unit raided the woman’s home after her social media activity was monitored by the IDF Central Command.

According to authorities, the suspect published messages praising the Hamas-led October 7 massacre, writing during the attack, “Allah grants victory and power.” She later posted about “heroic acts” returning to strike the enemy and referenced revenge and blood vengeance.

Authorities said she continued posting content praising terrorists while mourning the deaths of terrorists eliminated by IDF forces in Gaza, Iran and Lebanon, and calling for revenge over their deaths.

Officers arrested the woman inside her home and seized her cellphone as evidence. She was transferred to the Hebron Police Station for questioning, and the investigation remains ongoing.

“Israel Police continuously acts against incitement and support for terrorism in the public sphere and online, and will continue to act determinedly against anyone who attempts to inflame the situation, glorify terrorists and incite violence,” police said.
