A video provided to YWN from Israeli superstar Omer Adam’s high-profile wedding in Italy shows renowned Chareidi singer Motty Steinmetz delivering a stirring rendition of “Ana B’Koach” beneath the chuppah, in yet another remarkable Kiddush Hashem at the celebrity wedding.
As YWN reported earlier this week, Adam specifically wanted Steinmetz to perform at his wedding, but Steinmetz maintains a strict policy of performing only at weddings where proper separate seating is maintained during the ceremony. The requirement is reportedly even included in his contracts.
Adam and his kallah, Sacha Israelovich, agreed to accommodate Steinmetz’s requirement at the exclusive wedding in Portofino, Italy, which was attended by approximately 100 invited guests. The wedding was held at a converted 14th-century monastery.
Now, video from the chuppah shows the result.
Steinmetz can be seen singing the full “Ana B’Koach” with his trademark emotion as Adam and his kallah stand beneath the chuppah.
Sharp-eyed viewers will also notice prominent Israeli singer Amir Dadon standing nearby, visibly taking in Steinmetz’s powerful performance.
For Steinmetz, the appearance represented more than another performance at a celebrity wedding. By maintaining his standards while performing before some of Israel’s most prominent entertainment figures, the Chareidi singer brought the words of tefillah and an unmistakable Kiddush Shem Shamayim to one of Israel’s most closely watched celebrity weddings.
Ahead of the Yomim Noraim, Chassidic singer Motty Steinmetz releases a stirring new single and music video, “Hakol Chafetzim.”
The song, composed by Yanky Landau and arranged by Dovid Ichilovitz, draws its words from the Selichos and captures the powerful atmosphere of these days — longing, tefillah and yearning for closeness to Hashem.
The accompanying music video, directed by Hershy Segal and filmed against breathtaking desert landscapes, further evokes the song’s theme of yearning for closeness to Hashem.

When will you guys learn to stop Krumming up Jewish terms like “kiddush hashem”!?!? To put this into context, Omer Adam, an irreligious singer, whose songs are downright INAPPROPRIATE is marrying a pritzudik actress and model, yet you call it a kiddush hashem because he is willing to have separate seating in order to have Motti Steinmetz sing at his wedding. It’s not like the seating is separate because of lishma motivations, but its almost like a sacrifice he’s willing to pay for Motti Steinmetz

Why the bashing? The beauty and the Kiddush Hashem are so obvious! If only all Jewish celebrities would want a Chassidish singer singing Ana Bechoach under their Chuppa and agree to separate seating at their wedding. Hashem look at your children!!!
Some of you really have no concept of what a Kiddush Hashem is. It’s really not that hard to learn you can get some help from Google if you like. Halacha would almost certainly not even want Motti to even attend such a wedding because having a hand in it enables a couple that will almost certainly not keep tahrat mishpacha. Although I’m not a rabbi so I don’t know how far you have to go to not be involved, I promise you the wedding was anything but kiddush hashem
