Hezbollah launched two explosive drones toward IDF troops operating in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area overnight, the IDF said.

Soldiers opened fire at one of the drones and intercepted it. No IDF injuries were reported.

In response, the IDF struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, the infrastructure was used by Hezbollah terrorists to plan and direct attacks against IDF troops in the Security Zone and Israeli civilians.

The military said the strikes were carried out to eliminate an immediate threat.

The IDF said its forces will continue operating in the ridge area and will prevent terrorists from advancing and carrying out attacks against Israeli troops. The military added that it will continue acting forcefully against Hezbollah’s repeated attempts to harm IDF forces.
