A heated confrontation between Jonathan Urich and Eli Feldstein erupted inside an interrogation room as investigators brought the two former Netanyahu aides face-to-face over the classified document that was ultimately transferred for publication in the German newspaper Bild.
B’Chadrei Chareidim reported that the confrontation lasted approximately eight minutes, with the two men repeatedly accusing each other of lying about who knew about the document and who approved its transfer.
Feldstein told investigators that after receiving the document from Ari Rosenfeld at the Kirya in Tel Aviv, he traveled to the Knesset and met Urich in Tzachi Braverman’s office while carrying three documents, including the one later transferred to Bild.
Asked whether Urich had seen the document, Feldstein claimed that Urich physically held it. Urich denied the accusation and maintained that the first time he saw the document was during the investigation itself.
Near the end of the confrontation, Urich erupted over Feldstein’s accusations, saying that he had gone an entire week without seeing his daughter because of what he described as Feldstein’s lies.
