The IDF’s 210th Division has completed a large-scale military exercise across the Golan Heights and along the Syrian border, aimed at strengthening operational readiness for sudden and complex security incidents.

The exercise included all forces belonging to the division, together with additional troops from neighboring sectors and the Home Front Command. Local government leaders and emergency and rescue organizations also participated in the drill.

Troops practiced dozens of scenarios, including rescuing wounded soldiers from the field, responding to mass-casualty incidents, conducting medical evacuations, and maintaining command and control during active combat. The exercise also focused heavily on coordination between the military, local authorities and emergency services.

According to the IDF, lessons learned from fighting across multiple fronts were incorporated into the exercise, with particular emphasis placed on lessons from the October 7 massacre.

The scenarios included the rapid deployment of standby forces, the use of firepower and special forces, and maintaining heightened readiness throughout the military command structure in the event of a sudden attack.

The IDF said it will continue conducting regular exercises aimed at strengthening the readiness of its forces and protecting residents of the Golan Heights and Israeli civilians.
