Ofer Winter’s Amcha Yisrael party reported an unusual incident that occurred last week, in which three people sitting in a dark-colored car waited outside the party chairman’s home for more than an hour and attempted to enter the rear parking area.

The party said in a statement: “Last week, a team of apparent private investigators came all the way to the parking area of Ofer Winter’s home. Three people were inside the dark-colored vehicle. After they were caught by surprise and confronted, they identified themselves as members of the media, but did not present any identification.

“The group waited outside Winter’s home for more than an hour for members of the family to leave, possibly with the intention of entering the home or its surroundings.

“When they believed that all the family members had left, they attempted to enter the rear parking area of the home. However, they were surprised to encounter one of the family members, who was frightened, felt threatened and filed a complaint with Israel Police.

“At the same time, Ofer Winter, who was nearby, managed to locate the suspects as they attempted to leave the community and documented them in their vehicle.

“Amcha Yisrael strongly condemns any attempt at bullying or intrusion into the private space of any member of the party slate or their families. We will not tolerate threats, surveillance, or bullying — and certainly not harm to family members.”
