HEZBOLLAH HIT: IDF Strikes Terror Command Center Operating From Former Hospital In Southern Lebanon

IDF strike in southern Lebanon.

The IDF carried out a wave of airstrikes against Hezbollah terrorists and terror infrastructure in southern Lebanon on Sunday, after the terror group launched two explosive drones at Israeli troops operating in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area.

The IDF said the strikes targeted Hezbollah weapons storage facilities and terror buildings used by operatives to plan and direct attacks against Israeli troops and civilians.

Among the targets was a Hezbollah command center established inside a building that previously operated as a hospital in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, Hezbollah terrorists had recently been operating from the site, including conducting surveillance and artillery-related activity.

The military accused Hezbollah of exploiting former medical infrastructure for terrorist purposes, saying the sites were struck after intelligence showed operatives were using them to advance attacks against Israel.

The strikes came in response to two explosive drones launched by Hezbollah toward IDF troops in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area. No Israeli troops were injured in the attack.

The IDF said precautions were taken before the strikes to reduce the risk to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

The military said Israeli forces will continue operating in the area and will not allow Hezbollah terrorists to rebuild capabilities or carry out attacks against IDF troops.
