NETANYAHU: Israel Determined To Topple Iranian Regime, Warns Its End Is Near

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Sunday that Israel remains determined to bring about the fall of Iran’s regime, warning Tehran that any renewed attack against Israel would trigger a devastating response.

Speaking at the opening of the weekly Cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said Iran has so far refrained from attacking Israel because it understands the consequences. “Of course, it could make a mistake and attack us,” Netanyahu said. “It will suffer a blow it cannot even imagine.”

Netanyahu said Israel’s primary objective is the downfall of the Iranian regime, describing it as weak, faltering and fighting for survival. “The end of this regime in Iran is approaching,” he said, adding that Israel remains determined to complete another major mission that would permanently transform the Middle East and the history of the Jewish people.

The prime minister also pointed to what he described as enormous achievements made together with the United States in pushing back an existential threat to Israel, including removing the threat of nuclear bombs and ballistic missiles and dealing powerful blows to Iran’s regional axis.

Netanyahu said Israel has become the strongest power in the Middle East, “and some say even beyond it,” while Israeli security forces continue eliminating terrorists in Lebanon, Gaza, and Judea and Samaria.

  1. Whether one like Israel or not. No one can deny that Israel is doing the world a favor by weakening organized Islamist theocracies. If heaven forbid there were no Israel, someone else would just have to be doing these same things. Believe it or not China would be doing it, or the Germans. But due to the centrality of antisemitism and Jewish self hatred that is impossible to see while Israel is doing the heavy lifting for decades, that Islam was always at war to bring about a theocratic world no non Muslim wants.

  2. I actually got emotional watching the video and seeing government ministers at an official cabinet meeting answer amen to a borei pri hagafen. I know most people reading this would rather focus on everything irreligious about the state of israel and spend their energy cursing out as many secular Israelis as possible. And yes obviously there are still very serious problems and a very long way to go. But I would rather stop for a moment and notice something beautiful – after so much suffering and so much galus am yisrael is slowly coming home. Hashem’s name is being said and blessed openly in the highest rooms of the Israeli government, and jews are answering amen. They are our brothers. There is plenty that still needs fixing, but there is also so much here to thank Hashem for. Hodu laKel yisbarach.

Nobody is “cursing out as many secular Israelis as possible”. That’s a straw-man. There is no reason to curse out anyone who was “educated” in the Zionist paradise to not believe in G-d and to not know the basics of Judaism. Rather, that “education”, along with the rest of the Zionist shmad (from its core ideology turning Judaism into godless nationalism to its army and all the rest), is as worthy as anything else of being included in the kinnos we recently read on Tisha BiAv.

That’s really backwards. Arab Nationalism emerged as an answer to Zionism. As well, the Christians (and Chinese and other gentiles) would have had no problem subjugating the Muslims if they had to do so. There was absolutely no need for the Zionists to make the cataclysmic mess for Jews that they did.
