FLIGHTS RETURN: Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) Resuming Israel Service With Expanded Copenhagen-Tel Aviv Route

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is returning to Israel, announcing that it will resume direct flights between Copenhagen and Ben Gurion Airport beginning October 26, 2026, with the launch of its winter schedule.

The Scandinavian carrier will operate four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday nights, increasing service from the three weekly flights it operated during its previous return to Israel.

Scandinavian Airlines returned to Tel Aviv in October 2025 following an absence of more than a decade, but suspended the route again several months later due to the security situation and regional developments.

The renewed service will mark another return by the airline to Ben Gurion Airport, this time with a larger schedule than before.

Flights between Israel and Denmark will be operated using Airbus A320neo aircraft, with both economy and business class service available.
