Two Israelis, including an 18-year-old IDF soldier from the Jordan Valley, were arrested Sunday on suspicion of involvement in the August 29 incident in Qusra, near Shechem, as Israeli authorities continue investigating the case.
Police said the two are suspected of taking part in the incident, during which Israelis entered the village and a Palestinian home while a family was inside.
The second suspect, a 19-year-old from northern Judea and Samaria, was arrested after police searched his vehicle and found a knife, a switchblade and tear gas.
The arrests were carried out jointly by Israel Police and the Shin Bet, with Military Police also involved in the arrest of the IDF soldier. Both suspects were taken for questioning and are expected to be brought before a judge for hearings on extending their detention.
Police added that another suspect arrested Thursday in connection with the same incident is also expected to appear before a judge on Monday.
A joint police and Shin Bet investigative team is continuing to collect evidence and testimony and is working to identify and arrest additional suspects believed to have been involved.
