Otzma Yehudit chairman Itamar Ben Gvir informed Yossi Goldberger on Monday that he will be placed ninth on the Otzma Yehudit slate for the next Knesset.

Goldberger, a 39-year-old Chabad Chassid, is married and the father of four. He is a public figure with extensive experience in communal work and assisting individuals and communities.

In recent years, he has served as an adviser to ministers and MKs and worked to advance numerous projects with government ministries and various authorities.

Goldberger is well known among various communities and circles within the Chareidi public, institution administrators, and community representatives. In recent years, he has been a point of contact for many in the Chareidi community, connecting them with Otzma Yehudit ministers and representatives and helping advance their requests with government ministries and authorities.

Otzma Yehudit chairman Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said: “Yossi is an energetic man of action with a big heart, who knows the Chareidi public and its needs very well. He has proven over the years that he knows how to open doors, help people and deliver results. I am pleased that he is joining our team and am confident that he will be a loyal and strong representative of the Chareidi public in the next Knesset.”

Meanwhile, Arutz Sheva reported that Ben Gvir placed hasbara activist and Chevron figure Yishai Fleisher in the 12th spot on the slate. Fleisher serves as a member of the Efrat Council and as the international spokesman for the Jewish community of Chevron.

The report added that Fleisher is a hasbara and media figure with an audience of more than 300,000 followers on YouTube, and he regularly appears in international media, defending the rights of the Jewish people in Eretz Yisrael and Israeli policy.

As part of his activities in Chevron, Fleisher works to strengthen the status of the Me’aras HaMachpelah as a destination for visitors, and brings journalists, public figures and delegations from Israel and around the world to the city. Over the years, he has also been involved in restoring and developing Biblical and heritage sites and making their significance accessible to the public in Israel and abroad.

Another area at the center of Fleisher’s public activity is aliyah to Israel. He is the son of parents who were refuseniks in the former Soviet Union, was born in Israel, lived about half his life in the United States, and returned to Israel as an oleh.

As a member of the Efrat Council, Fleisher works on immigrant absorption and connecting olim to the community. He speaks Hebrew, English, and Russian and is a graduate of the Cardozo School of Law in New York.

  1. Yishai is a man amongst men. He talks a big talk walks a bigger walk. A man of his rhetorical genius is certainly needed at the national level. I just hope it doesn’t take away from all his other great work. Keep the YouTube videos coming! It’s great inspiration!
