Kosovo formally signed an agreement Monday to participate in the U.S.-backed International Stabilization Force planned for Gaza, adding another country to the multinational mission envisioned under President Trump’s postwar framework for the Strip.

Representatives of Kosovo, the U.S.-backed Board of Peace and the International Stabilization Force signed the participating-country agreement during a ceremony in Pristina, Kosovo’s capital.

The Board of Peace said Kosovo will support the mission of advancing President Trump’s 20-Point Peace Plan for Gaza. The agreement largely formalizes a commitment Kosovo had already made, after the country’s parliament approved the deployment of troops to the force in April.

Kosovo is now among five countries that have formally committed troops to the International Stabilization Force, joining Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan and Albania. Egypt and Jordan have separately agreed to assist with training police.

Despite the growing list of participating countries, no formal timetable has yet been announced for the deployment of Kosovo’s troops or those of the other participating nations.
