A joint Israeli innovation conference was held Wednesday at the London Stock Exchange, despite the ongoing calls for a boycott against Israel.
The event was organized by the London Stock Exchange, the Economic and Trade Mission of Israel’s Foreign Trade Administration in the United Kingdom, and the Israel Export Institute.
Participants included London Stock Exchange CEO Julia Hoggett, Foreign Trade Administration Director Roy Fisher, Economic Attaché in London Matan Saffran, as well as senior figures from London’s investment and technology communities.
During the conference, Israeli companies and investment funds presented solutions in the fields of cybersecurity, fintech, cleantech, sustainability and artificial intelligence.
The presentations were made before investors from London’s financial district, including multinational corporations, institutional investors and investment funds managing billions of pounds.
Organizers said trade between Israel and the United Kingdom exceeds six billion pounds, adding that British demand for Israeli innovation continues to grow despite the boycott campaign.
