Israeli authorities filed an indictment against a Palestinian man accused of publishing Hamas propaganda and expressing support for terrorism online.

The suspect, a man in his 20s from the village of Bardala, was arrested by officers from the Israel Police’s Judea and Samaria District following an investigation into his social media activity.

According to the indictment, the suspect recently posted a video containing footage of an attack on an IDF tank in Gaza, accompanied by the Hamas terrorist organization’s logo. The video also included footage from the October 7 massacre showing terrorists climbing onto a burning IDF tank before seizing and abducting a wounded Israeli soldier.

Following the investigation, prosecutors charged the suspect with incitement to terrorism and supporting a hostile organization.

In a separate case, police arrested a Palestinian resident of Rafat on suspicion of online incitement. Authorities said he praised terrorists responsible for an arson attack in Havat Gilad, writing that they should “die as martyrs” and reach the “highest levels of paradise.”

Police said the suspect also called for violent confrontation with Israel, urged followers to “put an end to Zionism,” promoted self-sacrifice and expressed support for former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

The suspect was questioned at the Binyamin Police Station and remanded into custody as the investigation continues.

“Anyone who identifies with, supports, encourages or incites terrorism and violence should know that our eyes are open,” police said. “The Israel Police will continue acting decisively to locate and expose inciters and bring each one of them to justice.”
