British Airways and Iberia Express are expected to resume flights to Israel on October 25 following prolonged suspensions of service during the war.
Iberia Express plans to restore its route between Tel Aviv and Madrid, while British Airways is expected to resume flights between Tel Aviv and London.
The return of the two European airlines would expand the number of direct flights available to Israeli passengers as Ben Gurion Airport gradually sees more international carriers restore service.
Direct flights between Israel and Madrid remain relatively limited, making the return of Iberia Express particularly significant for travelers heading to Spain.
The London route currently has more options, with El Al announcing this week that it will increase the number of flights it operates between Tel Aviv and the British capital. British Airways’ return would add further capacity and competition.
Several international airlines that suspended operations in Israel are continuing to evaluate when to resume flights, with return dates being adjusted in response to changing security conditions.
Both airlines are currently scheduled to return on October 25, though the date remains subject to change based on the security situation and future decisions by the carriers.
If the plans proceed as scheduled, Israeli passengers will once again have direct Iberia Express service to Madrid and British Airways flights to London beginning in late October.

The return of these flights is a practical boost. It adds options for travelers and shows a degree of stability for those doing business. The market adjusts to security realities, and more direct routes are always better for commerce and connection.
