AIR CANADA RETURNS EARLY: Tel Aviv–Toronto Flights To Resume November 30

Air Canada announced that it will resume nonstop service between Toronto and Tel Aviv on November 30, nearly seven weeks earlier than its previously scheduled return date of January 17, 2027.

The airline said the decision was made following a “thorough review of the security environment” in the Middle East.

Flights between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Ben Gurion Airport will operate four times a week, using Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

“Air Canada’s resumption of service to Tel Aviv follows a detailed assessment of operational, safety, and security considerations in the region,” the airline said.

Air Canada had repeatedly extended its suspension of flights to and from Israel after Israeli airspace was closed on February 28 amid the outbreak of the war with Iran.

The decision to move up the restart represents another significant step toward restoring international air service to Israel following months of disruptions and suspensions by foreign carriers.

Air Canada confirmed that the Toronto-Tel Aviv route will operate as year-round service beginning November 30.
