BNEI BRAK CHAOS: Beer Bottle Hurled At Naftali Bennett During Cholent Restaurant Campaign Stop; Suspect Arrested

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s campaign visit to a popular Bnei Brak cholent restaurant descended into chaos Thursday night, culminating in a beer bottle being thrown at him and a suspect being arrested.

Bennett, chairman of the Beyachad party, arrived at “Moti’s – The Cholent Place” in Bnei Brak as part of his election campaign, where he spent approximately half an hour speaking with yeshiva bochurim and other young Chareidi men.

According to Bennett’s party, the discussion initially proceeded calmly and substantively.

The atmosphere changed when protesters gathered outside, including right-wing activist Mordechai David, who attempted to approach Bennett but was blocked by security personnel.

During their confrontation, Bennett told David: “I suggest you enlist quickly, because from the moment I am prime minister, you won’t receive a shekel from the state.”

David later attempted to block Bennett’s vehicle as the former prime minister prepared to leave the area.

Amid the ensuing commotion, a beer bottle was hurled in Bennett’s direction.

Police subsequently arrested a suspect for questioning in connection with the incident.

The confrontation came as Bennett continues campaigning ahead of Israel’s upcoming elections and attempts to make inroads among Chareidi voters.

  1. I have no doubt that they are taking them to the military with intent to kill them if they don’t shmad, once they are there it’s either shmad or death, they’re philosophy is that Jews didn’t assimilate, only cause they couldn’t of, and kept Judaism as method of survival, not as person with a personal God, only a communal with it’s gains, some of them believe there is something spiritual and eternal in that fact that Jews live in Israel and are culturally Jewish, some of them have no comprehension of person and personal God into understanding that a person would want to live in Israel without actually fond of or flatter for Jewish nation. How can a public enemy number one come and eat food in our community, worst chutzpah there is
