Turkish Foreign Minister Takes a Blow at Israel

With officials in Jerusalem assuring us that relations between Israel and Turkey are back as they were prior to Operation Cast Lead, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has issued a polite reminder that this is far from accurate, at least from his point of view.

The senior Turkish official announced that talks cannot possibly resume between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority) as things stand today, accusing Israel of holding Gazans in a large prison, demanding an immediate end to the embargo on Gaza.

The senior official made his remarks during a meeting with the PA’s representative to Turkey in the PA’s diplomatic facility in that country.
