The U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control said Tuesday it is revoking Iran-related General License X and replacing it with General License X1, ending the June 21 authorization that had allowed the production, delivery, and sale of Iranian-origin crude oil, petrochemical products, and petroleum products in response to the latest provocations by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.
