ELECTION PROBE: Judge Blocks DOJ Bid for Names of Fulton County 2020 Election Workers

A federal judge has blocked the Justice Department’s attempt to obtain the names and personal contact information of everyone who worked the 2020 election in Fulton County, Georgia. The DOJ had issued a subpoena in April seeking the identities of county employees and volunteer poll workers as part of its investigation into alleged election-related misconduct. Fulton County fought the request, arguing it was overly broad and would intimidate election workers.
