Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Dr. Michael Leiter disputed Rep. Ro Khanna’s claim that his office alerted the U.S. Embassy in Israel ahead of his visit to Judea and Samaria.

Speaking on CBS’s Face the Nation, Leiter said, “There was not an alert. There was a question about visas, that is all.” He added that Israeli officials asked Khanna to coordinate the trip with them, but said the congressman “basically” remained silent, calling the incident “unfortunate.”
