Federal investigators believe Perez may have earned more than $100,000 by wagering on the outcomes of Trump’s State of the Union address and other speeches. Kalshi flagged the trades and referred the matter to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, while Perez is reportedly in settlement talks with regulators.
