SANCTIONS LIFTED: U.S. Removes Fly Baghdad From Terrorism Blacklist Amid Iran Talks


The U.S. Treasury Department has lifted sanctions on Fly Baghdad Airlines and several of its aircraft that were designated in 2024 over alleged ties to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force. Fly Baghdad, also listed as Iraq Express, and two Boeing 737 aircraft, YI-BAF and YI-BAN, were removed from the Treasury Department’s sanctions list, ending their terrorism-related designations.
